Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada; Donal Finn made his name in the underground Vancouver punk scene as the Singer/ Songwriter of the band Flash Bastard who would go on to reach national acclaim, touring with Motley Crue & The Scorpions before disbanding. Not long after Soul Kid #1 called it quits Donal connected with Time Again frontman Daniel Dart to open his own full production recording studio in Hollywood where he would begin his journey into the world of Producing, working with bands such as Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Writing and Composing original work for an array of feature films including Step Brothers, The Haunting in Connecticut, Jennifer's Body and All About Steve to name a few as well as numerous TV shows on CBS, Bravo, Lifetime, and Discovery. During this time he also would start an Americana styled project known as the Swapmeet Shakedown, who's songs would be used in everything from Shotime's Shameless to Stephen King's "Under The Dome" on ABC. Recently Donal has signed a new deal for Flash Bastard on Metropolis Records (Skinny Puppy, Bauhaus) to release a new record in the summer of 2015.
